Nina- (Vector Artist)
Nina’s portfolio
Hello Nina:
Firstly, Please can you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your background?
I am an illustrator and graphic designer originally from Georgia, living in Russia and almost always travelling around the world. I enjoy making vector images for stock agencies, working with clients and drawing everywhere and everyday.
How would you describe your portfolio?
The biggest part of my portfolio form flat design elements, icons and logo templates. There are also some experimental illustrations with characters and ideas.
What kind of work have your images appeared in?
I think most of the clients purchasing my work use my images for websites, blogs, banners and social media.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
I can get my inspiration from everything around me, the world is such a wonderful place. Many people and artists inspire me so much. I admire how some illustrators can see something unique and beautiful in usual things and how graphic designers can make something new using only simple forms and shapes.
It is also very inspiring that my illustrations are appreciated and people want to buy and use them. It inspires me to make more graphics and I always try to do something new. I am very thankful to all the people who are interested in my work.
How do you decide which subjects to draw?
Sometimes I make images guided by new trends and analysing what is in demand. Sometimes I create illustrations according to my inspiration and my wish to experiment with style and theme.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
As I travel a lot I don’t have strict working hours. Often I work all day long or through the night if I am very inspired. Sometimes I spend only a few hours on creating illustrations and then go explore something around me.
